This season, Vans has redesigned and rebuilt every little bit of the UltraRange to make it more durable. This includes an EcoCush™ midsole made with at least 50% bio-based foam derived from sugar cane, the all-new EcoRubber™ compound made with responsibly sourced natural rubber, sourced from suppliers who follow proven ethical practices to minimize environmental damage.

The upper is designed to reduce production waste compared to Vans' traditional cut and sewn uppers.
EcoCush™ Midsole - This new midsole is made from at least 50% bio-based EVA foam derived from plant sources in accordance with ASTM D6866-16 testing standard.
EcoRubber™ Outsole - All-new rubber compound made from responsibly sourced natural rubber instead of petroleum-derived synthetic rubber. This new rubber compound has been developed and engineered to maintain the grip and durability Vans has been known for since 1966.
