Spark Arc ST Pro

The lightest and highest performing splitboard binding in the world. Made with extreme attention to detail, premium materials, and custom components. The PRO Series bindings are the culmination of years in the forefront of splitboards binding technology and manufacturing. They are built for splitboarders who want the best of the best.

The Arc splitboard binding is lightweight with medium flex for long tours, epic overnighters, trees and steeps.

New For 2023:

Spark made some great updates to the line with new asymmetric highbacks, baseplate refinements that improve durability and the all-new ST Tech. ST stands for Smooth Touring and will be seen in the touring brackets, the whammy bars and the crampons. This process of overmolding allows them to inject plastic over the metal parts for the best combination of strength and smooth rotation.

Updated Sizing:

Spark has moved to a unisex binding line. The size charts have been meld into one, from XS to L. Bindings are now available in all the same colorways for men and women.

Baseplate
The baseplate is CNC machined with maximum cutouts to shave weight yet maintain strength. It also allows you to adjust the pucks without removing the bindings.

Tesla T1 System: Bindings slide sideways into the offset touring brackets and are locked into place with the snap ramp (the part right under your toes). No pins, no cable, no fiddle factor. To ride, slide across Spark or Voilé pucks (sold separately) and again, press down the snap ramp.

ST Whammy Bar Climbing Wire: A single fatty wire with a side arm lever that allows you to easily switch from stowed to low (12°), to high (18°) climbing positions and back again while touring. Overmolded plastic where the bar contacts the baseplate allows for super-smooth climbing wire deployment and transitions.

ST Touring Bracket with Hollow pivot pins: On the PRO Series, the pins are made with stainless steel and have been hollowed out to be 33% lighter than standard pins.

7075 Aluminium Heel Loop: Thinner and lighter than the standard heel loops while maintaining the required strength.

7075 Aluminium Hardware: A 65% weight savings is found by replacing 7 stainless steel components with 7075 aluminium hardware, custom made in-house. The heads have been switched from Philips to Hex, and the custom screw head has more than double the drive depth of a standard button head. All of this, to avoid stripping. Additionally, an unthreaded shoulder improves the connection with the heel loop.
Hi-Back
The Arc highback has a moderate amount of glass fiber fill for medium flex and a surfy feel.

PRO Highback: Carbon reinforced highbacks are more responsive, lighter, and stiffer than our standard glass reinforced highbacks. Injection molding allows for more complex geometry and improved impact strength compared to other methods of carbon fiber construction.

New Asym Rip ‘N’ Flip Highback: Asymmetrical design features individual left and right highbacks that slope inward matching the rider’s stance. The upper section is flatter for improved lateral mobility. More material at the base for increased longevity and durability. The tool free forward lean adjuster (FLAD) offers complete customization from 0 to 22° in ride mode. The FLAD toggles easily between lean position and -13° touring position for easy transitions.

Lateral slots accomodates Strappy Straps for additionnal comfort on firm skin tracks (sold separately).
Straps
Full Pebax® Plastics in Pillow Line straps, ladder and adjusters: Pebax® is a premium material often found in high-end ski boots as it provides consistent stiffness and improved toughness in cold temperatures. It’s also 20% lighter than our standard material.

Toe Straps: Also come in one construction, they are designed to be used as a toe cap but also fit traditionally over the top.
