Burton [Deep Winter] Hitchhiker X
Save weight and add strength with this lightweight evolution of splitboarding’s most dialed and reliable binding.
The Burton Hitchhiker X Splitboard Binding takes a revolutionary design and tweaks it in all the right places for an optimized strength-to-weight ratio. Where better to start than with titanium hardware? And then why not utilize a thinner and lighter 7075 aluminum heelcup to get just what you need, and nothing more? Updated single-injected Supergrip Capstraps bring the minimalist performance to an all-time high.
Lightweight 7075 Aluminum Heelcup
Tesla T1 System: Bindings slide sideways into the offset touring brackets and are locked into place with the snap ramp (the part right under your toes). No pins, no cable, no fiddle factor. To ride, slide across Spark or Voilé pucks (sold separately) and again, press down the snap ramp.
One Climbing Wire: T1 stands for One Wire, and it is built into the baseplate. A single fatty wire that allows you to easily switch from stowed to low (12°), to high (18°) climbing positions and back again while touring.
Quick-Adjust FLAD™: The higher the Forward Lean angle on your hi-backs, the quicker your heel-edge turns. Crank ’em forward for icy hits in the pipe like Danny does, or back ’em off for jibbing like Ethan. Tool-free and micro-adjustable for easy fine-tuning and maximum angle options.
Flex slider: Strategically stretched hinging zone that allows the heel strap to flex and fall fully open. Backed by a lifetime warranty.
Tesla T1 Heel Rest: It catches the climbing wire in the 12° and 18° positions. Compatible with the T1 Heel Lock (sold separately).
Burton, Voilé or Spark pucks (sold separately): The most functional way to attach your bindings in Ride mode.
Accessories (sold separately): Ibex Crampons, T1 Heel Locker
